The Georgia Cyber Innovation & Training Center (GCITC) is proud to spotlight the outstanding success of Central Savannah River Area (CSRA) students who earned top state honors during the 18th season of CyberPatriot, the nation’s premier cybersecurity education and workforce development competition.
These achievements underscore Georgia’s growing leadership in cybersecurity training and highlight how hands-on learning experiences at the Georgia Cyber Center are preparing students for high-demand careers in technology, defense and critical infrastructure.
Through our resident partner, the Alliance for Fort Gordon, GCITC proudly hosts year-round cybersecurity programs and summer camps that give middle and high school students real-world exposure to network security, cyber defense and IT operations.
Strengthening Georgia’s Cybersecurity Workforce Pipeline
As cyber threats become more complex and artificial intelligence reshapes digital security, Georgia is investing in early cybersecurity education to ensure a strong, future-ready workforce.

Programs like CyberPatriot provide students with practical experience in:
-
Cyber defense and network security fundamentals
-
Critical thinking and problem-solving under real-world scenarios
-
Team-based technology and IT operations skills
At the Georgia Cyber Innovation & Training Center, these skills are reinforced through immersive training environments designed to mirror professional cybersecurity operations centers, helping students transition from classroom learning to career pathways.
The success of CSRA teams also reflects the strength of Georgia’s cybersecurity ecosystem, built through collaboration among Fort Gordon, K–12 schools, higher education, industry partners and workforce development organizations.
